EXHIBIT: Florida Through the Lens
On Exhibit: June 8th – July 28th, 2017

Florida’s beauty can be seen through a variety of unique plants and animals. In our ever-changing environment, photography can serve as a safe and environmentally conscious way to capture memories while doing your part to protect our fragile ecosystem. We invite you to take time out of your day to look through the lens at Florida’s natural wonders.

Richard Estabrook has been a nature photographer for over thirty-five years and has won several awards for his work. His initial interest was in macro, or close-up, photography concentrating on flowers and insects. After moving to Florida, the color and variety of birds led him toward nature photography. Unlike most of our exhibits, the photographs displayed here are available for purchase. For more information, or to take home a piece of this collection, please see staff.
